Over 65,000 employees work in more than 5,300 sports retailers in 42 countries. With sales of more than 13 billion euros, INTERSPORT is one of the world's largest sports retail organisations.
The IIC was founded in 1968 by ten European country organisations to promote cooperation and strengthen national and regional organisations in sports retailing. Since its foundation, the IIC has become an important player in the international sports industry.
